Umbria is often referred to as 'The Green Heart of Italy'. Once you step foot in this breathtaking place, you'll quickly understand why. The spring season in Umbria is warm and inviting, but can also be a bit rainy at times. The months of January, February, March, November, and December tend to be wet and chilly. April and May, on the other hand, are typically sunny with temperatures averaging around 21 degrees Celsius during the day. Although you May occasionally encounter some rain, most days are filled with sunshine. As June arrives, summer begins to set in: mainly dry and warm weather with temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius. July and August are the hottest months, with temperatures reaching approximately 32 degrees Celsius. As September and October come around, the landscape transforms into a pallet of fantastic colors, the weather is very enjoyable and less hot. While you may experience some rainy days during this time, the majority of your days will be filled with blue skies.
